At SmartPads, we believe in building modular homes that blend efficiency with character and style, and that ethos is embodied by our amazing team. Today, let’s meet Ann Marie, our Client Engagement & Design Lead, whose role is more than just finding finishes – it’s about helping each client bring their vision to life. Get ready to dive into Ann Marie’s world, where passion for work meets a love for family, vibrant colors, and the beauty of Hayden, Colorado.
Q: How do you like to spend your weekends?
Ann Marie: Living in Hayden offers a perfect blend of nature and community. Weekends for me are all about catching up with friends, volunteering for local events, and enjoying our thirty-five acres (check out @tinyonthetundra). Of course, visiting my son at school in Boulder is a highlight, and I’m on a mission to explore all the hot springs in Colorado. We’ve made it to four so far!
Q: What is your favorite place to eat out in Steamboat?
Ann Marie: Without a doubt, Creekside steals my heart. We love beating the Sunday morning crowds there. And let me tell you, their Irish coffee is beyond compare!
Q: What is the most fun part of your job?
Ann Marie: I absolutely love working with vendors to coordinate items for the dream homes we’re building. Collaborating with customers and sharing Pinterest pages to understand their style is like tapping into a well of creativity. It’s fun to present them with ideas to customize their home and bring their vision to life.
Q: How do you bring value to SmartPads customers?
Ann Marie: I’m on a constant quest for the best products and the best value. I don’t stop until I’m sure I’ve explored all possibilities. Ensuring our customers get top-notch quality and the home they’ve dreamed of is what keeps me going.
Q: What finish do you feel has the biggest impact on the interior look and feel when building a home?
Ann Marie: Flooring and paint, no doubt. Flooring sets the flow of a room and can make a small space feel open. Paint can turn a room cozy or formal. My advice? Try samples of different colors and go with the one that evokes the feeling you’re looking for.
Q: The word on the street is you like bright colors – where in a home would you recommend adding color?
Ann Marie: Oh, everywhere! For subtle pops, a bright backsplash and coordinating furniture do wonders. But if you’re feeling bold, go for it in a bathroom – it’s a small space where you can test the waters without breaking the bank.
In wrapping up, Ann Marie brings more than just expertise to the SmartPads building process; she infuses a vibrant energy into every project. Stay tuned as we continue to introduce you to the individuals who make SmartPads the go-to for custom modular homes in the mountains. Because we like building beautiful homes that save our clients time and money!
