Meet Natalie: Helping Take Custom Home Building Dreams from an Idea to Reality

As SmartPads’ Sales Coordinator and Office Manager, Natalie is often the first point of connection for homeowners, and also the steady throughline that keeps projects flowing from early conversations through active builds. She brings enthusiasm and organization to every step of the process, helping potential homeowners answer the multitude of questions that go along with making a big decision. Natalie also ensures everything is running smoothly in our office in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Meet Natalie

I grew up in Ipswich, Massachusetts, and attended Johns Hopkins University. I first moved to Colorado in 2017 to work at Vista Verde Guest Ranch, and that is where I met my husband! Since then, we’ve lived in several places, including Minneapolis, MN; Bozeman, MT; and Burlington, VT, before the “Yampa Valley Curse” brought us back to Steamboat. We are so happy to be back here with our cat, Lisa. In the spring time I am one of the coaches for the Steamboat Springs High School Women's Lacrosse Team.

Q: How do you like to spend your weekends?

My weekends are spent hiking, biking, and skiing. Getting outside and being active with friends fills my cup!

Q: What is your favorite place to eat out in Steamboat?

The kitchen. As someone who likes to cook and host people in my home the finishes someone chooses for their kitchen is an opportunity for their personality to shine through!

Q: What makes SmartPads design different?

SmartPads design is different in its efficient use of space, custom finish options, and we always make sure to capture those stunning mountain views.

Q: What are some common things people don't think about (but should) related to the design of a home?

Planning ahead is critical. Knowing the intricacies of your piece of land and how you want your home to look and feel is important. Sharing inspiration photos is super helpful for our team. At SmartPads things move quickly, so having these figured out ahead of time keeps things moving so you aren't delayed getting into your home.
