Telluride 3

A forever home shaped by decades of adventure, thoughtful entertaining, and deeply personal design details.

After decades in Telluride and a lifetime spent traveling the world for work, this family designed their home around the way they wanted to live moving forward. The main level became the heart of the home, with expansive open living spaces centered around cooking, gathering, and hosting, while a large walkout lower level was designed to comfortably welcome visiting family and friends.

The kitchen became one of the defining features of the project. Every detail was intentional, from the workflow and storage to playful custom touches like a hidden coffee bar lined in bright red cabinetry. Throughout the home, art and personal storytelling shaped the design just as much as the architecture, with custom lighting and display spaces carefully planned around pieces collected over a lifetime of travel.

Why Modular

Less Waiting

Traditional home builds can take two years or more. With SmartPads, your home is built while your site is being prepared, allowing both processes to happen at the same time.

Factory-Precise

Every SmartPads home is constructed in a controlled factory environment, protected from weather delays and changing site conditions. This approach allows for greater consistency and quality control.

Fixed Pricing

One of the biggest challenges in traditional construction is uncertainty. With SmartPads, your home price is established before construction begins. While changes you make along the way can affect the final cost, our process is designed to provide greater transparency.
