Aspen 1

Built to fit the neighborhood without sacrificing the openness, light, and livability that define the home.

Designed for the Stotts Mill neighborhood in Basalt, this home is a study in thoughtful problem solving. HOA restrictions shaped everything from rooflines to height limits, pushing the design toward creative on-site solutions that preserved both efficiency and character.

Originally built as a spec home by local developers, it was quickly purchased by a family who connected with the balance of modern design, livability, and efficient use of space. Vaulted ceilings, carefully placed windows, and warm details like a wood-burning stove and soaking tub make the home feel far larger and more open than its footprint suggests.

Why Modular

Less Waiting

Traditional home builds can take two years or more. With SmartPads, your home is built while your site is being prepared, allowing both processes to happen at the same time.

Factory-Precise

Every SmartPads home is constructed in a controlled factory environment, protected from weather delays and changing site conditions. This approach allows for greater consistency and quality control.

Fixed Pricing

One of the biggest challenges in traditional construction is uncertainty. With SmartPads, your home price is established before construction begins. While changes you make along the way can affect the final cost, our process is designed to provide greater transparency.
